About the Producers
Finca El Jardín in Tolima, Colombia, is run by Jorge Elías Rojas, a 4th-generation coffee farmer. Starting at 13, he inherited land and built his own wet mill. His work is incredible innovative, involving strict cherry selection, dual fermentation (72h + 38h), and honey processing. He dries the coffee with mechanical dryers, fique bags, and greenhouses. Jorge dreams of regional recognition and passing his legacy to his son. Jorge even roasts his own coffee through his brand La Roca.
What makes this coffee stand out
Pink Bourbon coffee is a rare varietal, celebrated for its exquisite and complex flavor profile. Originating from Colombia, this unique variety is a natural hybrid of Red and Yellow Bourbon, producing beautiful pink-hued cherries upon ripening. Its true magic, however, is in the cup. Pink Bourbon delivers a stunning balance, often featuring vibrant, wine-like acidity, lush stone fruit sweetness reminiscent of peach or apricot, and a silky, clean body with floral aromatics like jasmine. This captivating combination of elegance, sweetness, and complexity makes it a prized and highly sought-after coffee for connoisseurs who seek an exceptionally nuanced and memorable tasting experience.
